OUR FUTURE The global economic challenge requires action here at home. Pretty speeches, letters, and articles are not enough! As working parents with two young girls, both Kismet and I understand the challenges facing families today. As a father, I want us to think and plan ahead for all of our children. We must set local priorities. We must obtain our fair share of federal investment. We must help ourselves right here at home. You know my priority is the McKenzie Overpass – I want to know yours.

I heard from a little bird that you have been working with the Juan de Fuca Seniors for many months now. Through your hard work, you raised awareness and the federal gov’t is now prepared to help them with their expansion through infrastructure funding. I know the Seniors have been diligent at raising much of the funding themselves, but your intervention now allows them to complete their much-needed project. Kudo to you, Troy, you get all the credit for this!
